Weekly Contract: 42.5 hours

Job role

This is a very hands-on role where we are seeking an individual with General Maintenance knowledge and practical experience to ensure that we complete as much maintenance work as possible internally, providing a friendly, quick and efficient service to our residents.

Basic Knowledge of Plumbing and Electrical, Painting, Decorating and Joinery.
General Understanding of Building Maintenance.
Overseeing of third party contractors on site.
Maintaining the residence to brand standards, to include refuse and ground works.
Ensuring compliance when responding to identified maintenance faults
Ensure compliance of the property with all health and safety requirements as per building calendar.
Manage and record the routine testing, servicing and Maintenance.
Management of maintenance supplies in coordination with the residence team.
Basic IT Skills

Provide excellent customer service and communication.

This role will report directly to the Regional Facilities Manager, but will also require daily communication with your sites management team.

The ideal candidate will:

Have knowledge and experience of General Building Management.
Be service orientated, independent and confident, and have experience in a facilities maintenance role.
Have experience with the health and safety requirements.
Have excellent communication skills and with a helpful, can-do attitude.
Be proactive
Team Work – Ability to work as part of a wider team.
